title: Peering into intriguing little niches
Ah. The past week has been filled with quite a lot of stuff despite it being after the exams :o
I went quite a few times to Ion for food till I kinda know the basement relatively well already hah. And Anna and I discovered that this CD shop at B4 sells pretty cheap Disney dvds. Come to think of it I haven't watched quite a few of those traditional Disney cartoons and I don't think I'll ever outgrow them 'cause I really enjoy those cartoons (ie not the Pixar type of 3D ones but those 2D ones where the artists sketch many many drawings and put them together)!
On Friday we tried out yet another coffee shop at Far East haha. Before EYAs Lisa, Joni and I vowed to try every single coffee shop at Far East after the exams were over haha :D The claypot noodles I had were so good! And there's this shop selling Japanese snacks cheap! I told my aunt she can go there to buy next time (:
Options have been pretty fun! I'm in Environmental Bio, Coffee Consumption and discovering the roles of mothers in Chinese films. Bio is, of course, VERY interesting and we get to go on fieldtrips every week. Beat that! Haha :D We're even making a night trek at Lower Peirce and possibly going to Chek Jawa WHOOHOO. The camera is indispensable there! We got to get up close and personal with coffee beans for the coffee option haha (: Pity I don't like coffee; all the sampling in class loses some of its glamour. But anyway. From Crop To Cup: sounds interesting, doesn't it? And we watched a very sad movie for Chinese today called 樱桃 about a mother who was mentally handicapped. ): ): ):
Looking forward to Thursday hehheh :D

I hope Options will be fun and enjoyable :P I really don't know what I'm gonna do during my in-between-times! Going out to eat has become a little boring. I must find places to go and things to do. And money to spend.

Been slacking all the way from Thursday till now. Tomorrow's back to school again. And till I read Jolyn's blog recently I wouldn't have known that Integration SA is in about 2 weeks. Of course, Chinese O's are on 10 Nov too. BUT anyway now (besides going for Options in school) I am gonna go for dance, swim, cycle, learn tennis (if I can find a coach), go kayaking/canoeing with someone (who??), catch many many movies (Inglourious Basterds! :\), take many photos of people and things I treasure, go out with friends, start playing the piano again, look for ways to make myself useful and do LOTS of interesting stuff you can't do while studying hardcore for examinations.
Went to Talia's house yesterday for hers and Sam's joint birthday party/batch gathering :D Although it's all the way at Dairy Farm and I spent about 1 hour and 40 minutes getting back home again from there haha.

This is epic!

Rebecca's brownie cake!

Jolyn and Xinyi's present to Sam.

Birthday girls haha :D

Batch picture! (although some had already left before we took this ):)

YES EXAMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVERRRR! *jumps for joy like Abby in The Ugly Truth)
(yeah yeah except for Integration and HCL O's haha)
Now is officially the time to enjoy myself thoroughly, at least for a while WHOOHOO! I think I did ok for everything so hopefully the results will be good :\
Watched The Ugly Truth today with Sam, Deb and Anna. It was really enjoyable (I was afraid it was gonna be yet another of those rom-coms, but it turned out to be cool) albeit with all the sexual innuendo hahaha. Which was funny :D Then we lunched at Soup Spoon at Ion and walked around Ion after that. The higher floors of Ion are actually pretty boring :P
I was just trying to fill up my personal timetable for the next few weeks. Wow it's really confusing D: But Wednesday is a free day for me; I finish at 10 plus! (:
Anyway I think I'm going for dance tomorrow at Jitterbugs :D :D :D YEAH finally after more than 2 months of not going for jazz!

Hello. I spent today studying. I have succeeded in imbibing knowledge about Mendelian Genetics into my head. And that's only about one-fifth or one-sixth of Bio that I have to study by Monday coupled with all the other subjects. And I've been quite behind schedule for my other topics. History now.
Anyway! Saturday's bbq was fun! The dressing up was cooler that expected 'cause ideas thrown out on the day itself happen to be better than a whole week of Facebook messaging. Haha. It was a brief respite from the one week of nerdiness ahead of me. Whoohoo go go, me!

Hello. I have emerged relatively unscathed by the exams. Everything was pretty satisfactory except Philo and maybe Chinese paper 2 which were a bit dubious :O
But whatever la. I just finished making notes for The Lady With The Pet Dog! And I haven't printed Bio notes though I was supposed to do it today -.- And there's the (Carribbean) bbq tomorrow! (:
Oh yeah today Lisa, Joni and I had zhi cha at one of the shops in Far East. Awesome manz! Alright, it's really late I should stop spending unnecessary time on the computer now bye bye!

It is difficult to find proper proper evidence for SS Article Review. Hope the stuff I found will suffice.
Anyway, I just printed out 36 (yes, 36!) bao zhang bao dao's that lao shi sent us :O My printer's not dead yet, though. AND! My dad just told me that his colleague told him that the Mac can type Chinese and I switched the language to some Chinese mode and presto! I CAN TYPE CHINESE ON THE MAC WITHOUT USING WINDOWS PC! Yes. I realise that all the trouble I've gone through (since primary school) to install hanshen and wtv was totally uncalled for. Never mind. At least now I know :D :D Mac rocks.
Oh yes. I got into all the options I wanted :D I had originally bet $110 for Pharm Chem and only $90 for Mr Lim's Bio option and after that I was seriously regretting my decision. But on Monday I found out that by some miracle I had gotten into Mr Lim's option :D And so had Anna. So yay. Ok it's SS tomorrow byez!
